A resident of Brossard for the past 10 years, Marcos Alves worked in Brazil in the area of international development, including governance and regional integration. He is a former professor of politics and international relations at some of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Rio de Janeiro.
His experience in the media and in Canadian federal politics led him to serve as an officer in the Naval Reserve. Marcos notably represented Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship DONNACONA on the Canadian Armed Forces Liaison Council.
Marcos practices his expertise within Public Safety Canada, but he also has a great understanding of the benefits of addressing cultural diversity. At Bonduelle Americas, he acts as the senior HR representative to the company on cultural diversity issues regarding the integration of all foreign workers.
